What to look for if you're an Enterprise Edition User?

Rocket® Uniface version 10.4.01 has three big changes for Enterprise Edition users:

  1. Sentinel is replacing the Uniface DLM licensing system.
  2. The Repository table definitions have changed.
  3. You can choose to have 32-bit and 64-bit development and deployment environments.

What to look for if you're a Community Edition user?

For Community Edition users, version 10.4 is now 64-bit! Combined with a new Repository, this means an upgrade of your Uniface experience. As it is a major upgrade and not a minor one, this means you can't do a patch update to your existing Uniface installation. To get started with version 10.4, download and install the latest version and migrate your sources.
