[SOLVED] Forum time zone

Author: arjen.van.vliet@uniface.com (Arjen van Vliet)

At the bottum of the page it says 'Forum Timezone: Europe/Amsterdam'. Yet the time stamp of my postings (in Europe/Amsterdam) is two hours earlier Confused ?

Hi Arjen, The forum timezone is 'Europe/Amsterdam', but your timezone is probably still set to UTC. You can see 'Your Timezone' on the far left of 'Forum Timezone' at the bottom of this page. 4 years ago when we migrated the site every user was assigned the UTC timezone, so I suspect that's the case with you as well.  These days newly registered users will have their timezone set to 'Europe/Amsterdam' by default. To fix your issue, please:

    1. Go to your forum profile
    2. Click Options in the top menu bar
    3. Click Edit Display Options
    4. Select your timezone
    5. Click Update Display Options
