[SOLVED] Dim buttons in panel - Uniface 9.7

Author: heloise.besseau@euralis.com (helbenmar)

Hello, we are currently migrating our application from 9.6 to 9.7. In 9.6, the panel buttons were displayed in grey when the associated user-defined-operations were not defined in the current form. In 9.7 this does not happen anymore, can you help me to get back to this behaviour? I have compared the .ini files but I didn't find anything to solve this issue. N.B.: In 9.6 our glyphs were .bmp, now we would rather use .gif in order to get some transparency (as .png do not support the dim option). Anyway so far it doesn't work for any of these formats. Thanks!

  1. Hi, I quickly tried to reproduce your problem, but for me the behavior in 9.6 and 9.7 is identical. Did you try to export your BMP based glyphs from 9.6, import and compile them in 9.7? Does that not work? Or do only your new .gif based glyphs not work? Regards, Theo

  2. Hi Theo, thanks for your answer. I have tried again with .gif only and it works well :) It seems that if there is at least one .png based glyph left in the panel, nothing can be dimmed. Problem solved!
