  1. Updates for G310
    Issue Number Description
New Functionality The JavaScript API provides the following functions that are especially useful in mobile applications when working with off-line or read-only data:
    • uniface.instance.getData() serializes the data from a specified component instance into a string with JSON content.
    • uniface.instance.setData() loads data from a JSON stream (created by getData()) into a specified component instance.
The data can be stored and retrieved from a local database using the uniface.datastore APIs.
New Functionality The Output Box now supports widget operations that enable you to add lines to the data stream, and copy the current contents of the widget to a variable.
    - Added an example on the use of the JavaScript uniface.activate() function.
