Uniface 9.6.05 Patch X501 available for HPK, HPM, LIB, LU6, RSD, SO9, W32 and W64

Uniface 9.6.05 Patch X501 has been released onto the FTP-Server (https://download.uniface.com/downloads/Uniface/patches/9605/) for HPK, HPM, LIB, LU6, RSD, SO9, W32 and W64.   The list of included bug fixes can be found in the ReadMe of the Patch.

  1. Updates for X501:

    • The database connectors for Oracle, Solid, and SQLite now support a maximum record length of 2GB-1 for records with only fixed length fields. The maximum record size for entities that have variable length fields remains 8192 bytes; the rest goes into the overflow table.
    •  The maximum number of levels in a Proc call stack depends on the type of Proc module. Entries can have a larger call stack than operations.
    • It is now possible to use Structs for disconnected record sets. New switches and Struct annotations have been added to componentToStruct and structToComponent to support the occurrence reconnect information required by the reconnect statement. This functionality works in the same way as xmlsave and xmlload.

Uniface 9.6.05 Patch X501 has been rereleased as X501A (for details see: http://unifaceinfo.com/forum/unifacetechnicalsupport/uniface-9-6-05-patch-x501a-available-for-hpk-hpm-lib-lu6-rsd-so9-w32-and-w64/). Any previous version of patch X501 should be replaced by version X501A. An installation on top of the previous version will fully replace it.
