  1. Important remarks: * After installation you have to recompile all components. The run-time will give an error on components that are not recompiled. * Components compiled with the Service Pack MX01 are not compatible with earlier version 9.6.01 patches (i.e. it is not possible to execute a component that has been compiled with the Service Pack MX01 with a Uniface run-time that is using a version 9.6.01 patch; e.g. X104) * The fix for bug 29975 ("$text: Next Proc statement is skipped when using empty messag/help text name") will cause a compile error when an empty messag/help text name is used with $text Note: I've updated this info May 28, 2013 @ 18:10 (UTC+2)

  3. As Daniel has pointed out, after installing MX01 there is a totally new environment (recompile all, ...) So the following info I got from "Compuware Uniface Support" may be helpful for you as well: Hello Uli, In FrontLine you can submit a uniface 9.6.02 product request, you than get an electronic link to install Uniface 9.6.02.

  4. I submitted my product request via frontline. it took some 24 hrs and I got a link where to download my 9.6.02 installation pack (took some 70 mins) It will take a little while to backup my 9.6.01 development environment (act, professional: backup) and then start the 9.6.02 installation during a coffe-break. On the installation (development), I changed any "96" to "9602" and all the ports for the gererated Services end ..2 Afterwards, I stopped the generated services and changed the properties from "automatic" to "manual". So all is prepared whenever I have time to see what the new version will bring us (check my list of bugs, ...)
