NAUUG WINAPI Question
Author: firstname.lastname@example.org (George Mockford)
During the NAUUG 2008 conference I was asked about retrieving the login userid from windows. This sample shows a simple example of getting the username plus interfacing to the operating system via a command signature. This sample can be extended even further by invoking the "systeminfo" command that returns a whole lot of additional information about the current system including domain name, time system is up, and even the machine time zone.
