  1. Hi svetka, I have not seen a documentation how to turn it off, but perhaps way to adjust the listings: in the compiler listings, a lot has changed between uniface 7 up to the current version, we have an additional set of line-numbers in front of the records making it harder to get it printed without line wrap. And this first line you are talking about. I apply a small AWK script to the proc listings to get a more useable format, this can skip the first line as well. Perhaps you can follow the same routine? Just for curiosity: why you do not like the "Compiled At" information? Kind regards, Uli P.S. it may be wise to use the "official way": talk to your local Uniface Account Manager and/or place a call at frontline

  2. Hi Swetka, There is no way to switch a line in the compilation listing off. If you need to remove this line from a lot of listing it may help to download a free RegEx tool. Can you explain why you do not want this line? Maybe we can come up with a workaround for your problem. Theo

Just a small AWK commandline excercise may help (assuming your are already in the directory of your proclists MAWK.EXE "FNR>1 {print > FILENAME '.stripped'}" *.cptlst The code says: if the recordnumber is greater 1, print the line to a file with the input filename with appended ".stripped"

  4. Hi svetka, another option is a "programmable" editor like sed; just start it with the original proclist and a script that deletes the first line. Lots of different options in the wide area of open-source textfile manipulation tools
