Hi All

Firstly... Thanks to Gerton for the demo and thanks to uniface for the new additions in the 9.5 release...

This is probably aimed at Gerton but one problem I see is that anybody climbing on the DSP boat is firstly going to look at MUSICSHOP for inspiration.

So, would it be possible to provide an update showing 'how the code should look based on the latest 9.4 release and if possible to add some 9.5 features too.

  1. Hi Osie,

The 9.5 Controlled Release contains a new/updated MusicShop with exaclty that. :-) The 9.5 CR is mainly about the new JavaScript API and the MusicShop is updated with sorts of runt-at-client constructions that uses the new JavaScript API.

But 9.5 CR provides more samples, showing other run-at-client constructions written using the JavaScript API. All in all they give a pretty good impression on the possibilities of webtriggers, weboperations, and webactivate in all sorts of constructions as well as how to write certain JavaScript constructions (espacially interesting to the people new to JavaScript).

Check the samples directory adter installing Uniface 9.5 CR.

  2. Hi Gerton

That sounds almost too good to be true.  Perfect... I look forward to getting my beta tester email.

btw: I wonder if any now redundant code has also been removed.  If I am correct, the webload and websave statements in the originaly musicshop can be removed in places or in all places...
