Maybe I'm missing something here. But you can just add the URL (e.g. http://www.uniface.info) to the email body text. And when you read the email with an E-Mail client then the URL should be shown as a hyperlink. FYI: with Uniface 9.4 the UPOPMAIL component has been enhanced to support sending HTML email, including attachments and inline objects. The SendMail operation is still available for backward compatibility, but it only supports plain text messages. The functionality it provides is now available using the other operations for sending email (SetToList, SetCCList, SetBCCList, SetReplyTo, SetFrom, SetSubject, SetPriority, SetMessageId, SetMessage, AddAttachmentFromFile, AddInlineFromFile, and Send). Hope this helps. Daniel

  2. Well, you'd have to send html text, using the html option on upopmail, if you have one of the newer versions of Uniface. Which version are you running?  This then relies on the end user using an html capable email reader (which most, it has to be said, do.) such as Outlook.  Then you would compose the html as per a 'normal' web-page and include your href within it.

If you want to do this with the Uniface UPOPMAIL component then you need to migrate to at least version 9.4 - or better to Uniface 9.6 (in case you want to use a supported release). In version 8.4 this can only be done (AFAIK) with a 3rd party solution (e.g. calling Microsoft Outlook using the COM Call-Out interface). Hope this helps. Daniel
