Table name missing

Author: wiebe@brandonu.ca (wiebeja)

I am trying to setup a MS Sql Server Database. I'm using the create table utility. The file that it creates doesn't have the table name that it is suppose to be creating!   I then created the table on the database manually and tried to execute a retrieve on the table. uniface version is 9.7.03 using MSS u5.0    Here is a snippet of the log file... SQLServer System Information : ------------------------------------------------ Driver : msodbcsql13.dll 14.00.1000 Server name : TRODRIGO\BUSQLSERVER_TEST Data source : mss_test ODBC Version : 03.80.0000 Driver ODBC Version : 03.80 SQLServer2 Database Information : ------------------------------------------------ Database name : Admin User name : uniface DBMS name : Microsoft SQL Server DBMS Version : 12.00.6024 (Full server version not available, last SQLResult = -1) I/O function: S, mode: 0, on file/table: index: 1 >= select ACCTNO,BANK_ACCOUNT,CHEQUE_NO,U_VERSION,PAYMENT_CODE from I/O function: S, mode: 0, on file/table: index: 1 >= 42000 [Microsoft][ODBC Driver 13 for SQL Server][SQL Server]Incorrect syntax near 'from'. ................ any help would be appreciated

  1. Normally, when I try this and it misses the new table off, it's because I haven't used the 'Analyse Model' after changing the model.  Regards,  Iain

  2. Or are you saying that it had the rest of the create script, but not the table name?
